Default Though the winter woods panel

Good Morning. I just joined my first quilt guild and they have a challenge to do a panel this is my first panel to do also . LOL so this is what I came up with the panel is called though the Winter Woods by Holly Taylor for Moda fabrics. the block I used is prairie claw block using the template for Square in a square system by Jodi Barrows . and the quilting I did, the design is from Wasatch. all I have left do is to make a label and put on binding. It will be judged by the guild in November and results in Dec.

GREAT job and congrats on your first quilt. I think joining a guild is a great idea. They can be addicting. If you ever feel like the guild does not fit you, find another or find one or two people from the guild that might like to sew in between meetings, or just get together every once in awhile. Best of luck!!

Very pretty! It looks like it could be one of the glossy magazine pages for that fabric line!
