    OMG this is a wonderful Idea. I have 4 of those exact drawer units in storage and no idea what to do with them. This is PERFECT! Thank you so much for sharing.

    Isnt that a great way to store threads.
    I did a similar thing, but I used golf tees,
    $2.50 per 100.

    I love love this idea, I am currently trying to think of another use for the spool racks, I have 3 that will be empty when I get the storage tower all set up.

    You can also buy pegboard at the hardware store ( My husband
    got white)....buy dowels to fit....cut to fit the drawers and
    cut dowels to size needed for spools....glue them in place.
    I have a rolling cart from Office Max done this way...works
    great.
