Thank you ladies. You are all so positive I feel positively encouraged to go attack that really big quilt that I started New Years Day. It's 70"X98". BIG!
"I can do this!" (I hope!)

    Thank you, Ruth.

I agree with you about Bella's quilt and if it was my dog it'd get an old blanket too. This started out as a joke but the joke is on me. I have to make one for the other grandpuppy and grandkitty now! Trust me, I'm not using my best fabrics and I'm not spending a lot of time on pet quilts. An hour tops for that pink quilt!

Wonderful, though I wonder what kind of pooche gets a pink quilt?

A little girl dog named Bella!

Steve, you have to understand, my daughter is the mother of three very active boys. She was ready to have some other female something in her house! Bella gets lots and lots of pink stuff!

    Yvonee, you do beautiful work!

Please don't forget the other two furry "grands"! Although I really can't say much 'cause my own "babies" haven't gotten their own yet. In my defense, they'd prefer to be under the covers with ME and the two we have now just don't get the idea of being covered up while relaxing on the couch. In a lot of ways, EmmaLee is still that scared puppy we brought home.... she's allowed me to cover her up then jumps off the couch to get it off. I guess she needs a little more quilt appreciation lessons!

Stormy, on the other hand, is what I call "the furnace." She warms up (herself and the bed!) pretty easily and only this winter has she wanted to get under the light cover every night. Usually I wake up to her panting!
