Yep! Finished! I used the 'F' word and proud of it I am!!! I'm following some well thought out advice and am trying to wind up a few projects this year. Of course only one of these is old. I may have to post these one at a time but I'll eventually get them all up.

First off is grandson Andrew's eleventh birthday quilt. Would you believe I am a whole month early finishing this? What will I do with it for a whole month? Try it out? Ship it early?

The blue quilt pattern is from "Strip-Pieced Quilts - Easy Design from Just Six Fabrics" by Maaike Bakker The quilt's name in the book is "Chateauponsac".

"Bloom Where You're Planted" is an applique practice block. It's been hanging over my head for about a year now. I'm very pleased with the quilting. I think I may be getting the hang of this free motion stuff. I have a long ways to go but I've come a far piece, trust me!

This is Bella's quilt. Bella is our new 'grand-pet' dog. Now I have to make quiltlets for the other two grand-pets, Floyd and Jo-Jo! The fun just never ends!

WOW! They are beautiful. The first one is my favorite. What is the name of the design?

First off, thank you! I'm happy you're enjoying the pictures.

I apologize for not mentioning that the blue quilt pattern is found in

The quilt's name in the book is "Chateauponsac".

My quilt is called "Andrew's 11th Birthday Quilt" or Andrew's Quilt for short!

You really did great. That blue is wonderful! On your pup's quilt, the quilting looks great! Those curly waves set it off nicely.
