Riversong,
How do you sew the binding on the octagon shapes? Would it be the same as doing the corners on a regular quilt? I did the octagon newspaper template. Wow! Came out perfect.
Thank for all your sharing!

These are absolutely gorgeous. I look for your posts every time I get on the qb. Every time I think they are the best until the next time and no they are better. I am amazed at how you fast you create these beautiful table toppers. Keep up the good work. But most importantly "Keep sharing."

I need more help than I thought! I would like to add a border and then the binding. This looks better after seeing Riversong's design. How do you add a border to a octagon shape and then add binding. Any help is appreciated. If someone will lead me to a website or some pictures on the internet, this would be helpful.
Thanks,
Nancy

For some reason I have drawn to the Dresdan Plate the last few months, I want to make something after the holidays with it, but not a quilt. Thanks for the idea. Could you give a little more detail on how you made these. What was the basic octagon size and how long are your plate petals and center circle Thanks
