    So pretty & better suited for decor IMHO... I'd hate to risk getting them dirty with use.

    These are too gorgeous to use as hot pads! I'd want to hang these as art pieces! Dang I'd like to be your friend.

    These are beautiful. Instead of double batting, I always use 1 layer of batting or felt and 1 layer of Insulbrite. It's great for blocking the heat in potholders. However, I agree with ERSTAN947, beautiful for decoration but don't think I could bring myself to use them.
