    Default Three Quick Hot Pads

    Here are 3 hot pads I made this weekend. I had some scraps to use up and a friend had asked for some.

    I got the idea for the swirled feather quilting design from a quilt just Charisma posted--Thank you, Charisma!

    They are about 9" in diameter and have a couple of layers of batting. Next time I'll add another layer or two of batting, but then I'll have to quilt each side separately before I put them together so that I can get them under the foot of my machine.

    They were a such fun little project!

    Very pretty - actually, too pretty to use especially for everyday. I would wait for company and then show them off!

    I think they would make lovely trivets. Thanks for sharing - the design and quilting are gorgeous.
