Three quilts I've quilted since my husband died.

Indycatcarol, I too wish to send you my deepest condolences on the passing of your husband. I know that continuing to do things by yourself that the two of you did together is hard, but bless your heart and soul for doing it. By continuing you are honoring your husbands memory and benefiting from the thearpy that quilting is to so many of us. May God bless you and your daughter and bring you comfort and peace in life and allow you to stay busy and continue quilting.
Oh and good job indulging in a new purse!!

So sorry for the loss of your husband and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so glad you were able to work through your grief - not that it has ended - but to keep you going. My sister was unable to quilt for nearly two years following her husband's death. Just couldn't keep focused long enough to do it. Your quilts are just lovely!

I am so sorry for your loss I am going thru the same thing, my husband is dying of cancer. Hospice thinks he is going into the transitional stage, it is so difficult. I miss working in my quilt room but he needs my time, I also hope my quilting can help my heart heal as the time comes. God be with you at this time. Sue
