As one who has gone through what you have I know that you were and are doing what will help you most. Years from now you will look at the quilts and they will bring you comfort in a way, that I'm not sure I can even explain. I recently gave my son a afgan my mother crocheted when my stepfather was dying and in the year after his death. It meant something to him too as he had stayed with her durining some of that period as a 10 year old boy and remembered her working on it (as do I). Would also like to know did you go to the purse party and was it fun?

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is a good thing for you to keep yourself occupied. Looks like you are doing that part well. Great quilting!
