Thanks for looking at it and trying to figure out what to do with it though. That was very sweet of you.
Here is her site to check out some of her quilts ... She lives very near my son and daughter in law.
This one is in the "storybrook farms" multi-block quit.

Thanks so much everyone! Those sweet comments are very much a thing I needed today. So... many thanks to you all.
Sadjuliet .. The pine needles link in my post is her site where you can buy her patterns. It is in the sunnybrook farms ... multisection quilt list on the left of the screen as you enter her site.
I have the scarecrow block from this quilt top too that I am making soon. I bought these both of these kits at the Truckee, California Quilt shop I visit every now and again. A very cool shop.

It is making me want to sew today too! LoL! My gardening can take a hike today, I am tired! I put in ten huge bags of compost yesterday and trimed tons of my roses. Oh my aching legs!
I think a nice sewing day is just what I need.

Hi Red,
Gosh they are all great! Make an easy border, go from light to dark on the outside, you have every color to choose from, so just pick your favs and add them on. The multi colored prairie points would look really nice, but take a little longer. The whole quilt is so busy, you might just want to do plain borders and call it quits. ha
Do you have any veggies in that garden? I have to go water mine now, it's supposed to be in the high 90s again today. Don't have the drip system set up out there yet. Then it will be on a timer and I won't have to go out twice a day.
Really though, super job on those UFOs :!:

I'm supposed to be out in my garden....but the QB was calling...and am I pleased I dropped by. I love all three...but the Sunflower/cat/bird combination stole my heart (three of my all time favourite things). Love your work....a real eclectic group...and all so beautifully done. Like omak...I get a little distracted, if memory serves (I read every comment, so forgive me if I've got it wrong) you were seeking ideas for a border on the first one? If so, maybe the vibrant blue from the tulip/lily flower in the center, if you are not keen on red? Anyway....I'd better go and do "stuff" Thanks for sharing your treasures.
