    Lucky you ... FYI many of the White machines were made by Viking. but as I found out ... the feet are not all interchangeable. Only a very few.

    What a beauty. Too bad our local thrift shops have highly inflated ideas of what their products are worth. I usually go out of town for such shops.

    I found an older White a few weeks ago (mfg around the early 70's) and paid $25. I thought I had a real bargain(well actually, I still do) but yours is even better.

    I'd never sewed on a White before but they are strong workhorses. They sound like they will last forever.

    thrift stores are so much fun - they are like treasure hunts and when you find the prize of the day (like you did) ... it is awesome!!
