    Thrift stores are a great source for unexpected finds- you never know what you'll find til you check ! :lol:

    I recently bought one at a thrift store myself, I couldn't believe how heavy it was compared to ones you buy today, The folding instructions were still intact on it and the lady demonstrating wore a black dress, pearls and a white frilly apron, I thought of "June Cleaver", I love it. Had to pay $3 for mine.

    I had one of those years ago. A word of caution though, please take the time to wrap the feet (I used electrical tape in several smooth layers.) so they won't mar or ruin your flooring. I learned this the hard way. I sure miss mine though. They are very steady. Much better than the newer ones. Enjoy!

    Mine still has the rubber feet protectors on it.

    Even if you don't find anything every time you go, eventually you will see something you can't live without. The other day I found a plastic pull out bin that was $1.00 and I snatched it right up. I will use it for storing fat quarters. Thift store finds keep a lot of stuff out of the landfills.
