Default Through the Window

I have done this panel as trial after se.Ppeing MSQ doing it on YouTube . What I would like advice on is the finishing 4" border she recommends. I have loads of Christmas fabric and I'm wondering if dark green with holly and little red berries or reds . Thank you in anticipation.@

That is cute! I'd go with a small print. Not so busy it would pull the eye away from the center. Do you have a few you could "audition"? I find that the best way to decide as each can make it look so different.

What a great way to use a panel. I always audition different fabric on a design wall. You don't want any print that is busy to distract from the panel.

love it! Maybe just add a narrow border of the dark, to look like the trim on a window and call it good?

I think I would continue the window illusion (I love how you photographed it with the curtains!). I would use the medium brown and miter the corners to look like a wood trimmed window.

Great window and I would keep the border simple. If the fabric reads like solid green it should make a nice frame.

Terrific use of a panel! I also vote for a window frame type border....
