Do you have a picture or story to share of family quilts from years ago that are still being used today? This is my great niece sleeping under a quilt that her great, great, great grandmother had made.

How fortunate you are to have quilts made by family members. And that is a gorgeous quilt, I would love to see the whole quilt.

Very nice!!! Rare, I think, to have a real treaury passed down in the family with the broken homes and foster homes of today for so many innocent children. Sweet child.

That is a beautiful family heirloom and a wonderful pic. My grandmother quilted but all hers are long gone and my mom made two quilts. One for each of her first grandchildren. The one she made my DD was used by all three of my kids and is in pieces. It is stored in my youngest daughters closet and she still sleeps with it if she is feeling stressed. It's the reason I started quilting. If one of my quilts is loved half that much I will be happy.
