    The border is a french braid. I saw it on the internet and found a tute on google. Yes I put the ties on muslin. It is a real easy quilt to make.

    I just love it! My sister wants me to make one out of the extra ties her husband doesn't wear anymore. I think I have the right project. Thank you for the inspiration.

    Yes they were washed and dried in a dryer. Hope you enjoy making yours as much as I enjoyed making this one.
