    What a great idea for such a traditional quilt. It's beautiful!
    I also made a tie quilt by Karen Stone called "Untitled". It's really wild looking though.

    I love it. You did a fan-tastic job. Pardon the pun. I have been saving ties for a while now just waiting on the perfect pattern to use them with. I had read somewhere that ties looked great in a Grandmother's Fan quilt and now I beleive it. I'm getting mine out and staring on it tomorrow. Good job! It's gorgeous.
