I know someone who just started working at the VA in the infusion center and I assume that they use blankets or the like to keep the patients comfortable during the procedure.
I was thinking that they might appreciate some quilts to use for this purpose but wonder if 1) they would be welcomed or 2) would create a sanitary or infections situation if they are used among patients. Some of her patients are undergong chemo and have seriously comprised immune systems.
Thanks.

What I was thinking and what I have heard, was to use as a lap robe either to keep the patients legs warm or some who may be amputees (sp?) may like them. There is a nursing home section at our VA and that's the part my son thought would be best. I had mentioned my son is a disabled Vet and is over there often. He knows more about it than I do and will be going with me when I deliver them next week. I will let you know if I find out more info when I take them.
Thanks to everybody for looking and for the compliments.
