    Everybody passes on their own fabric, so everyone make 20 -30 blocks that belong to other people..

    Sounds like a chain letter with fabric. The finished product looks like the other participants were thoughtful about their additions......it has a modern look and sublime.....never heard of it til now

    Hmmm....that is quite a commitment for the participants.....20/30 blocks to be mailed out to various people.....

    I agree that sometimes it's hard to step outside out comfort zone, however, you wound up with a beautiful quilt.

    Thanks for explaining the process ... quite a fun thing to do, I think, for those with the right sort of personality. Anxiety is my constant companion, so it would drive me insane ... very quickly.
