    Default Tinner's Quilt

Finished quilting this one for a friend. This concept does not appeal to me. I guess I'm too much of a control freak.
A Tinner's project is organized where you select 2 or 3? colours of material ( my friend started with the gold and green/blue), put it in a cake tin and send it off to 4 or 5 participants in turn. They make an agreed numbers of blocks, adding or subtracting a colour. When it gets back to you, you should have enough for a full sized quilt. I will say my friend was taken aback by the addition of purple/plum, but I think she assembled a rather attractive queen size.

The quilt is lovely. I don't think that method of quilt fabric aquisition is for me!

Quilt is beautiful. But I have to agree with Doggramma. I prefer to choose my own. it's another reason, I don't participate in round robins and such.

I think that's a very special quilt. The colors are great and turned out wonderful. I always cherish my quilts after a couple months upon finishing them.

Turned out beautiful. I really like the purple/plum. How much fabric do you send out to each of the people? I guess I am just not sure enough of my skills to do this. You quilting is super. BrendaK

Well, I think she did a wonderful job bringing it all together. And, I'm sure the experience was a lot of fun. In these kind of swaps, there is always the possibilities of surprises. You have to be a bit open minded. Pretty quilt.
