    Default Tiny Dancer

I have a new granddaughter due to arrive on Christmas Day (although for her sake I hope it's before or after by at least a couple of days). My daughter refers to her as "Tiny Girl". When I found this pattern by Jaybird Quilts I couldn't resist buying it and making it for our Tiny Girl. I bought the pattern, purchased the fabric, cut and pieced the quilt and quilted and bound the quilt in a week besides working my full-time job. There were lots of things that didn't get done but this quilt did, just in time to gift it for a baby shower this past Saturday. This is only the second quilt that I've literally done from beginning to end. I have an awesome LAQ that I prefer to use but that's impossible when I put myself on such a deadline. What's the saying? "If you look at it from riding by on horseback at 20 mph it looks pretty good."
