Your table runners are beautiful, you did a really great job on them. I applaud your 4 hour hike with your beautiful German Shepherd. You get my thumbs up for your training and your table runners.

I do have a fenced in yard, but I have four passions in life: my dog, quilting, reading and my garden.

My dog is my TOP priority (i'm not married, have no kids!) She keeps me in shape, and makes sure I get all the fresh air and exercise I need. I got a working line and trained her in search and rescue (for fun - now I can get a couple of my friends to come hiking with me, they hide, and then she has to go find them), urban agility, frisbee, and a made up agility course that I set up in my backyard - which includes tunnels, a teeter totter, tires, and her jumping my 6-foot fence LOL (thankfully, she only does that on command!)

I took a podometer for both of us once, and while I had walked just over 10,000 steps, she had walked / ran well over 32,000 LOL ... so we definitely both got our exercise that day!

Thanks for the comments on the batiks ... Now I'm going to do the rest of the borders so I can sew it all together.

You're off to a great start! They look beautiful. It reminds me that I need to finish mine.

Beautiful braids. Love the expression on your dog's face. I, too, have a GSD and she has me well trained too.

Yes, she is a long coat german shepherd ... and thank you for the posts all regarding the braids ... I'm almost done the four borders ... realized I cut way too many little squares so might end up doing another border LOL
