    Amazing how a quilt can be transformed by the quilting sometimes. I looked at that a long time thinking the blocks were "flowers" made from pieces curved at the edges (like a Dresden Plate). It took a while before I realized I was looking at regular square cut strips!!

    I would love to see the quilt top - just to see what the block looked like before it was transformed.

    Awesome job by both of you.

    Do you ever mark your quilts or is this totally freehand? I've been working on free motion on the frame and those feathers are hard to do on the corners and keep even. Whats the trick?
