Last nite i put the label on the back and the local project manager put her approval on it, today she's getting it! I am soooo excited!!! The camera is in my purse so i wont forget it! I tend to do that alot!!

I'm very honored to be returning her quilt to her w/ my own addition - making it truly a quilt "we" did together

    I'll post more pictures later

Now she's annoyed that she has to leave!! :)

LOL! I saw the label and thought Why is she giving her such a messy (crossed out) label? Then I realized you blocked it out for the picture. Give me another hour, I'll wake up. LOL!
Yes, it looks like the local projector manager approves.

I am home and we had an absolute ball!!! My aunt had no idea that I finished this for her. She was sooooo very surprised!!! Silly woman called me when i got home and wanted to give me money for adding on the border and I told her No Way!!! The precious look on her face was payment 100 fold!! It was an honor to complete this and that it was something that she and I did together

Brief history - She made this after she & my uncle married and the kids were coming along during the 50s. She gave it to me about 10 yrs ago. I added the border to finish the quilt.

My aunt thought I was coming over to share w/ her the quilt that i am making for my mom from diamond shape pieces that her mother cut out, but died before she finished the quilt. I'll be giving this quilt to my mom in June...My aunt and 3 cousins have to keep my secret til June.

I am very thankful to be part of a family that appreciates all this.

    Thanks for sharing my journey

    My grandmother's orginal plan
