Today's trip to Lancaster
#52
I trek all through Lancaster county for fabric. It just seems that I like certain shops more then others. Zooks changed hands and they don't carry the same things that they did when it was Amish. I was at Zooks and the Old country store in May. DH drives me all over hunting for the ultimate find!

Hi, G-burg is flourishing! The Needle and Thread is still out 116 near the campground. I was in there about a week ago. They really specialize in Civil War fabrics. There is a huge battle going on with the LeVans who own Battlefield Harley..they are trying once again to get a casino built. It slated to be on the corner of Route 30 and 15. That fell through..so now they are pushing for a casino at the Eisenhower conference center. This past weekend was the battle reenactment. This weekend is Bike week. The campground on 116 had a great musical line up for bluegrass. I couldn't go..but they had Alison Krauss. Love her music. Home sweet home!
