Your quilt is gorgeous! Those are always such happy colors and sure to bring joy to the recipient.

Did you hoop the quilt for quilting in your machine? Do you bring the bobbin thread "up" when starting? The machine stippling looks fun in these machines. I want to try some sample blocks on mine.

although i can use the standard hoops for quilting i invested in a magnetic hoop.
it makes it much easier to position the quilt and to pull it flat without stretching it too much.
(the overly-stretched was my fault, not the machine or hoop.)

i do pull the bobbin thread up to start but the machine automatically knots and cuts top & bottom threads when a pattern is done. i used to obsessively trim off the little threads it leaves on the back. i got over that after the first few quilts. it's the back. anybody who doesn't like them there can do their own trimming. lol

Fun quilt with those butterflies all over it. How long does it take to quilt one with your embroidery quilting?
