    I think its beautiful for a girl. They grow so fast anyway.

    I am so glad you asked this question as I am about to embark on a very similar project with very similar colors of fabric and I had the same question, Thank you so much. I also think your quilt is very lovely and agree that it will be a lifelong treasure. I made one for my niece when she was born and now I am making one for her daughter. My niece still has the one I made for her. Family quilts are treasures.

    I think it's a beautiful quilt, and the newborn will only be a newborn for a few months. She will quickly grow into it. No concerns that I can see.
