    Great way to use your quilts……..PS - there is a film you can put on your windows that filters out the UV rays - no more fading from the sun on anything……..easily removed too...

    Nice quilts.....Hope they help to keep you warm. It is a cold fall..Scares me to think what winter will be...

    I would put a layer of batting between the sun and your quilt. Those are beautiful and I would NOT want to see any sun damage done to any of them !!!

    Never let it be said that quilts have to be on beds to keep us warm. At one time my son used his quilt as a drape, as well as a method to keep the sun out. No worries - I made the quilt when he was 12 and he was about 35 at the time, and that quilt went with him when he left home and when he moved back - twice. He and his sister were both boomerang kids, they left, but they kept coming back home.

    I remember doing that back in the 70's and early 80's when we lived in southwest Missouri and heated with wood!

    I use quilts on the windows all the time (partly because I have very little wall space). Very little sun damage.
