    At first glance I thought more coffee mug rugs. Glad I took a second look. Fab gift idea. BTW, Joanne's has patterns on sale, less than 5.00 this week.

    when we made them the pattern was called "pinafore mug"...it was a Nancy's notions pattern. Don't know if its on her web site yet or not. love them

    Thanks for the link to the video! Those are so cute. I checked the website thinking they should have a free copy of the pattern but couldn't find it. Did anyone else find it?

    This tute shows how to make them a little different, but still cute....2 - half yrd cuts of contrasting fabric is what we used, but not all of both. I like the idea of adding a small pin cushion too, whereas mine didn't incl. the cushion.
