    I took the snow days and used them as "sew" days. Got three baby quilts ready to go and learn something along the way...the blue patchwork quilt has fleece in the middle for batting and boy is that wonderful to use. I got fleece for 2.00/yd at walmart and tried it out. Fleece is so easy to use when quilting. It doesn't shift or bunch. And for that price i will be getting more :!:

    i loe fleece too, the no shifting..i hve used it in my Family reunion wall hangings..

    Adorable quilts, and glad to hear about the fleese for batting. I just did a lap quilt, no batting , but fleese as the backing, and I loved it. Seemed so easy to work with , no puckers and shifting. Have you ever tried sweatshirt fleese for batting or backing?
