Is This Too Ugly To Give?

It's a wonderful quilt and I see fantastic, not ugly. Nice change from so many pastels. I know who ever you give it to will treasure it. You've got great fabrics, a wonderful focus print block-what's not to like?

Hubby has been encouraging me to give it anyway, as it's a nice usable cozy quilt, but is it too darned ugly to give away?

You guys all ROCK!
Well I just got home from the baby shower and I did go ahead and give the quilt. The mother loved it, the grandmother loved it, and as the gifts were passed around the room, most of the guests lingered over the little quilt to touch it and look at it closely. So I guess it was a hit, despite my apprehension... The grandmother (my friend) told me those were the mother's "colors", exactly. She said they were so NOT into traditional baby colors, they painted his room gray.
So, okay... Can't ask for better than that. I guess I'm just some kind of perfectionist snob that I didn't think the quilt was gift-worthy... Ha!
