I think it is a great quilt, he will be able to use it for years to come. I am so glad you ended up giving it. Thats awesome that it is the colors they wanted.

I have a "loud" babyquilt ready to mail--I was going for northwoods look for a baby boy--it's definitely masculine--no pastels there! I enclosed a note to the Mom letting her know that her mother and I picked out some of the fabrics after we had burgers and beers and hope she would use it--could go to day care without any worries that it would get lost/claimed by someone else! Have fun with this quilt!

I think it looks great. If you really believe the mother would not like it for her baby, you can always find another child who would love it.

I just recently gave a baby quilt made in green, rust, orange, very non-traditional and she loved it. Look at it this way - yours will be a one of a kind!!!!

Give it. It is precious. If the recipient doesn't love it, then he/she is crazy!

I like your baby quilt,it is very interesting, I think the two year old will enjoy this blanket to nap on. The baby will get lots of nursery type gifts.
