    I think either quilt pattern would be great. If it starts feeling like it's too much as you're laying it out on your design wall. Simply add some white. Fixed! If not, then you'll be happy either way.

    Gorgeous fabrics! I guess I think of an Irish chain as being more traditional, and a D9P as more modern, so I would probably use the D9P for those fabrics. I also think you might lose some of the precision of the IC with the blending of the two colors in the batik.

    Yum colours! Don't think it would matter what block IC is good I think Jacobs Ladder too.

    If you do the D9P, I think I'd use orange for the smallest square, since it's so bright, and the green has some varigated color in it.

    I would do the D9P with the orange in the center, the green on the sides and the floral in the corners. I can see it!!!!
