Yes the class was fun I got to meet more mebers from my guild. We are oer 125 members so hard to meet everyone. Had a great time.
I want to finish this top before the year ends will show my progress as it goes on.
The top behinsd Betsy and I is her sample for her book. Hope mine looks like hers when it grows up
She talked to our guild and showed her samples from the book and talked in detail how her book came about. A book worth buying.

Yes you know how us quilters are. We are never satisfied with the original size. I want it for a lap quilt so it is going to measure 58 1/2 x 71 1/2. I need to make 58 9 patches and 41 Croosroads instead of 29 9 patches and 19 CR.
In total that is 99 patches. Am I insane or what

Today I am working on cutting more blocks and plan to sew this evening. I do not want any more UFO's so I am going to try to finish this top before the year ends.

How wonderful that you were able to attend such an inspiring day! I love going to classes, but have so many UFOs that I am resisting for a bit. When my guild has national speakers/teachers, I really try to get all the knowledge I can to save up for when I can use it.
