    In light of how some people value this kind of work, I'd say you are lucky and that woman is a generous soul.
    It is beautiful work and a very unusual looking quilt.
    25 hours? is that all???
    The fabrics are exotic and earthy. You know those African women who decorate their skin with what looks like raised areas in a design? This reminds me of that, not to gross anyone out, but what you chose to do complements the fabric and the quality of the piecing and pattern.

    That is one of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. I love how you took the pattern from one of the fabrics and used that in your quilting. It is truly magnificent!
