    That is BEAUTIFUL!

    I can certainly understand how she would pay double. I would imagine that it can be rather unnerving to have to give your project up to someone else to complete. That someone else (quilter) has the opportunity to make or break your project, no matter how well you did it yourself, meaning the top. You obviously MADE her project. And she recognized that. Her hard work was enhanced, not wiped out.

    WOW! What gorgeous quilting!! I wish you were closer, I'd ask you to quilt for me! Beautiful work, I'll bet she was so pleased. What an honor to quilt for her, you should be very proud of your work.
