No it is not appliqued. The 10 minute block only has three seams and you only use 5 pieces of fabric. Give me a few seconds and I will post the link for the tutorial for you.

Your block looks perfect to me. I assisted at a quilt show on how to do this and believe me People not familar with the design made every step wrong. You will feel a lot better after you do another. Even children how to do this and they loved the challenge. It took me a few tries the first time. By the way I really love those prints you used. I like green a lot and they are most charming. Good Luck.

Not a good morning for me to try something new. If it could go wrong then went wrong. I lost count of how many times I had to take the seams out. Over and over and over again!
Not sure if I like the 10 minute block or not.
I was really hoping that these fabric prints would make a nice 10 minute block quilt. I will have to think about it.
    :? :? :?

    Thank you for looking.
Hi sweetie, Try again tomorrow!! I have to do that once in a while. I was cleaning my sewing room yesterday and was getting frustrated so I told my DH to please take me for a ride in our convertible and we got a coke and enjoyed the ride. Donna

I think it's the bow tie too but someone found a new to make it and gave it a new name is what I'm assuming. Things happen like this all the time.

I like the looks of the block! Did you make this with the folded technique where the center is more 3-D? I should find my instructions for making the bow tie like that and play around with the pattern...you've inspired me to make one.

Hugs!!! Everyone has days that don't seem to go right.
It is not only you. I have looked at the 10-minute block
instructions and gave up. They did not make sense to me.

I do Loovveeeee your Block. And the colors looks great. I am sure you will make them faster with each new block.
Sometimes after you have done one or two, ideas will come to you.
