Took me a week to FMQ a panel !
I belong to the slower than molasses club, but am loving every minute of it. Good thing I don't do it for a living! I really admire you quick and accurate quilters. Going fast makes me nervous LOL In continuing to practice my FMQing, I have turned to quilting panels for charity. In outlining the shapes I am learning to maintain control for the designs that follow. This is the first one I have done without the stitch regulator on my Tiara II sit-down mid-arm. I still struggle with what to put in the design areas, but am gaining a bigger repertoire of choices as I continually try new shapes and designs. The panel gives me freedom in that I don't have a huge investment in piecing time or cost in fabric. I am pleased with the result and hope it bring a Merry Christmas to some child.
Panel: Springs Creative Products Group CP46544
Backing: DINOSAUR by Riley Blake C4162
Finished at about 34" x 40"

Really nice quilting. I am a scardy cat when it comes to FMQ. My practice fabric is usually good but as soon as I start the real thing it messes up. I will keep practicing on my home sewing machine (no stitch regulator however )

Gosh this is a cute quilt that will make a child very very happy! Your quilting is paying off by going slow. I bet everybody starts out slow and steady. This is just so sweet. I like all the different motifs in the different blocks. I really like the spirals in the blue section.
