    Very cute quilt, but I wouldn't put the feathers, I think that would be way to fancy for the quilt. Don't really have any suggestions on the quilting though, just make it something cute for a baby.

    I would definately quilt around the doggie train to make them stand out other than that I think whatever you chose will only add to the cute quilt.

    I agree you have so many goemetric shapes to add interest and depth to your design. You could do continued shape around the dog, on the white background white. You grandson is going to love what ever you do to his quilt.
