Last summer my sister suprised me with a Jelly roll of Batick colors. They were beautiful but not something I would have picked out but would be perfect for her so I decided to something with them for her but couldn't find a pattern for a Jelly roll I liked until on Modabakeshop.com they put a brick pattern for a Jelly roll--It was perfect! I did have to do some alterations because they Jelly roll she gave me was not as wide but it worked out good and I plan on handquilting by taking circles about the size of a mason jar lid in bright colors all around it in order to break up the rectangles. Thanks so much for looking

Wow, that is really pretty. Simple pattern that works up very attractive. Your sister chose some nice colors. I like no border, too. Sister will love it.

I remember your original post about the jelly roll. Your quilt turned out beautifully. The colors in that jelly roll really look great together.

Thank you for all your nice comments. I had fun doing it and since it was simple it was nice and mindless sewing ;) I enjoyed it immensely!!
