    thanks ladies ... I got my border idea from Bonnie Hunters' quilt http://quiltville.com/delmts.shtml I thought it would make a nice border block too.

    I agee! The border really sets it off. By the time I get to a border, I just want to get the darned thing done. You've inspired me to pay more attention to my borders, cause it sure makes a difference!

    Beautiful! The right border is everything - it'll make or break a quilt. Your border makes the quilt come alive! Great job. She will love it! :lol: :wink: :lol: :wink:
