Betty, I would be interested in a link to the pattern for the tote bag. I am not too familiar with that particular site and thought you might have a short cut. I am primarily interested in the measurements and would like to make a bag very similar to the one you made. I love it, too, and know it would make nice gifts for friends.

thank you for sharing your expertise. Your bag is perfect!!!

June , this is the link to The About Quilting web site
they have lots of swaps going on all the time . the bag swap is over but always have more come up later just keep checking .

Okay , now for the design of the bag . I found the block pattern in Thimbleberries "Big Book of Quilt Blocks ". I made the block then I made the bag just by adding strips of fabric around the block . Then cut the back the same size of the bag front . Easy, Easy!!
you can email me and I can see what we can do about the block ,size, bag .

I love the bag too. The colors are very cheerful. But I am curious to know where in Sout Louisiana you are located. I grew up in Thibodaux and most of my family is still in town.
The bag is really pretty. If you ever have the urge to do another one, I'd be happy to take it off your hands once its done.
