    Alas I cannot take credit for the pattern or the faces, I am not that clever. Both patterns were in Australian publication Handmade, in two different editions. I embroidered the faces by machine, from a disc of doll faces . I did the faces before I cut out the head pieces.

    I am hopeless at hand embroidery.
