    I love your style sewbizgirl. Such a lovely and functional bag! I have made many bags, but none so large as this. How fun! The vera would be over a hundred dollars in this style bag.

    SewBizGirl - I made a similar duffel months ago using a combination of Pellon products (Thermolam Plus + Peltex) hoping for a firm but yet flexible shape. It worked but not as nicely as your Flex Foam stabilizer. Yours has a much better overall structure & appearance. I'm sure it was much easier (if there's anything easy about these bags!) to assemble than the challenge I had with the Peltex. Again, the entire bag is just stellar! Thank you for the tip on Flex-Foam - I'm taking note of it as well as some of your very sharp added features.

    P.S. I, too, paid a small fortune for the materials to make the bag but my daughter loves it. Beware - once your DIL has this on her arm you'll have more family/friends asking for one!
