Here is one of my UFO's. I cannot decide what border to finish this with-- plain or pieced? If pieced, what pattern should I use? I have not worked on this in a long time because I can't decide. Help me. What do you think?

Ooooo....those trees are really neat. What ever border you decide on will look great since what you have already done looks so good. Hope you post it after it is all quilted, too. It will be sharp!

I think I would use either a print or something red to pull out the red in the blocks.

I agree...I think red would make it pop!

I would use a darker border the is a little bit busy. Not one that looked solid. Nice job.

Nice work! What about a flying geese border?

I think it would be neat to put a prairie point edge on the border. If you used all the different green fabrics it would kind of look like falling leaves. Maybe a white border? Then you could do some fancy quilting and edge with prairie points.

Lovely design and colours...this will look fantastic finished. If it were mine, I would stick with a solid border, maybe even pick three colours from within the pattern radiating out, light, medium and then red, like a triple band...hope that makes sense.

Whatever you decide...please show us "what happens next"! Thanks for sharing pics.

I love all the suggestions. I hadn't thought of any of those.

Definitely red. It will bring out the few red triangles you have all over.
