    Beautiful!! The trees are wonderful!! Whatever you decide for the backing will work....it is the front that will be admired by all that see it!

    I'm a tree lover, so thanks for sharing this charming piece. I wouldn't hesitate to put a Christmas themed scrappyy pieced back on it - I always like "2 for the price of 1!"

    Thank you. I ended up using the leftover fabric in the middle with a small red and white print on the sides. I like the door idea, it would be great for the inside of our front door, since nobody uses front doors here. Everyone comes in the side entrance. It's waiting to be quilted when I finish the one I'm working on. Thanks for your ideas. Wish I had waited to read some of them before proceding. I especially like the box idea. Could have done that. Oh, well.

    Why not just alter red and green fabric,by using 5 strips for backing, Don't forget to enclude all who was invalvoed in making it!!! Tinker

    That is so pretty. If you have Christmas fabrics make a pieced backing. If not, I think the muslin is a good idea. I happen to like muslin on the back of some quilts.
