    Default Triangle Jitters by SuzyQuilts

I wanted to make a couch throw for my daughter and her family who have recently moved into a "new to them" house. They had a splurge and bought themselves new furniture for their lounge room and I thought it would be nice for them to have a throw to decorate their new couch. I wanted to do something very contemporary and "sharp" and thought this pattern and the muted colours I chose have worked very well. I put a little splash of aqua into it to match a painting they have on the wall. This was my first time using Monopoly monofilament and I was thrilled with it......it blends beautifully into the quilt allowing the pattern and colours to be the focus. My Juki had no trouble with the fine thread, I simply loosened the top tension a bit and used a thread net over the spool. I will definately be using this thread again. Thankyou for looking.

Neat pattern...I love the accent of aqua and am curious as to what color you are going to use for binding. Your quilting looks awesome and glad to hear you had a wonderful first time experience with the monofilament. It will make a nice addition to your kids’ new home.

This is beautiful. I am going to have to hide this picture from my "millennial" daughters who love modern quilts (joking). I really like your quilting design as it complements the quilt.

I am going to use the leftover muted grey for the binding. I really don't want any contrast or framing for this one. I had thought I would "face" the quilt instead of binding it so there would be no margin at all but I am worried that a facing won't wear as well as a binding.

Good looking quilt and I think your choice of binding will be perfect.

Very pretty, and you made it special and perfect for them. I also would bind it in the soft grey color.
