    What a great quilt. I never would of thought to use regular bandanas. The ones I've seen were on the lighter weight & not worthy of a quilt. I haven't seen the Have a hank brand though. I do like the bandana fabric in the quilt shops too. All different colors. This is great!

    Thanks! I found some of the purple and tean quilts on ebay, Have a Hank brand. My niece The TCU purple bandanas, which are the ones made in China, and not square, and you're right, the fabric in the Chinese made bandanas is inferior to that of the Have A Hank bandanas.

    If this coming winter is anything like last winter, she'll love the fleece backing. Our winters aren't as long as those farther north, but to me they are just as cold. (I'm from Michigan and don't plan on spending any winter there again!)
