Red face a tribute tothe Horned Frogs of TCU

MY niece is starting her senior year at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. I used bandanas for some of the squares, and pieced others using some great hand painted fabric i found on Ebay. The colors are the purple and white of TCU colors, plus black and teal. If you use bandanas in a quilt look for Have-a-Hank bandanas, made in the United STATES, and more square than those made in China.
I used fleece for the backing, so maybe the quilt is heavier than my niece needs in Texas, but maybe she'll move back to the Midwest after she graduates in may.
My quilter quilted feathers around the bandanas. It looks so great. I should have taken a photo of the quilting. Sorry to miss out on that.

I'm always amazed at the ideas people here have! I would have never thought of using bandanas as quilt blocks. Your quilt looks great, love the colours!

This is so weird. It was right side up when I posted it last night. I'll try to fix it.

That looks really great. Thanks for the tip on those bandanas. The ones I usually see in the store seem so cheap.
