Sew pretty! I also love trip around the world. My mother is 86 yrs old, she says when she was growing up, (my grandma made quilts), that this was called stepping around the mountain. Just some fun old facts!

Wow did you hit the quilt lottery! I'm so glad that your neighbor did not toss them out. Can you image, all that work and she wanted to throw them away! Good luck in finishing them. If you have some that your do not like, just make charity quilts out of them.

Oh us scrappy people loved looking at them. And what a wonderful thing that she gave them to you and that you in turn gave them to others. It is what I wish life was about, giving. What a great thing you both did.
