    Default Triple Irish Chain back--progress

The weekend's accomplishments in the quilting category. I love the hst blocks--and arranged them two ways to see how it looks in a photo. They will somehow be added to the back. One more round was added to the log cabins--I love the look of those. I have 23 more log cabins started--35 total will make a 5 by 7 lap quilt. That will use all the light fabric. I need to make sure I have enough fabric for the LC blocks--then start placing the pieces I have done to create the back to the Triple Irish Chain I made--remember that one? :-) All the fabric left will be a border for the back. I must save blue for the binding... Then all the scraps from that, after the quilting is done, will go into chunk blocks. I'll also post a pic of the pieces done for the back so far.... Thanks for looking!

I love the hst in the upper right corner in the first photo. Earthy and calming.
